Standing Together to Meet This Moment
Once again, Sonoma Valley is facing a defining moment of uncertainty and peril. Remaining the same is not an option as new federal policies and budget cuts begin.
Nonprofits and those most at risk will be hit first and hardest. We are already seeing an increase in the need for food, housing, legal help, mental health services, support for families and seniors, and more.
Philanthropy cannot prevent these threats. But we can strengthen our community’s response and protect the most vulnerable, avoiding the worst outcomes and creating better ones.
This is just the beginning. The challenge ahead is clear: Our community must work together in partnerships here and across the region. We must combine realism and generosity with imagination and courage.
