Lynne Lancaster
Steering Committee
Development Committee Chair
Lynne is a generational expert and gives speeches and presentations on how the five generations in today’s workplace click, connect, and sometimes collide. She is the author of two books on the generations, and is often in the media as a commentator on generational issues.
Lynne moved to Sonoma in 2000 and loves being part of the caring, engaged community. She and her husband both came from the Midwest and appreciated the neighborly values and spirit of giving they found in Sonoma Valley. Lynne is lucky enough to have drawn multiple family members to the Bay Area in the past 25 years, including two married sons, four grandchildren, her mom, sister, uncle, cousin, and niece!
Lynne was a founding member of Impact100 Sonoma, through which she got to know the local nonprofits and the incredible work they do. Lynne spent several years on Impact’s board and eventually did a five-year stint as co-president. It was natural that she became involved with Catalyst when it was founded in 2020 in response to the Pandemic. Lynne is proud of the complimentary work both organizations do to promote a more just and equitable Valley for all of our neighbors.
Lynne has a retired horse and a very social big dog named Velvet (pictured above). Most recently, Lynne has been performing a one-woman show about the life and times of Charmian London.
